Join Us for Baptism & Profession of Faith Class starting Sunday, Feb 22, 2026 at 11:30am. This class is for youth and adults.

Are you ready to take the next step in your faith journey? Are you wondering whether to publicly declare your commitment to Jesus Christ? New Life Church invites you to participate in our three-session class designed to prepare you for baptism or a profession of faith. In this class we will explore major biblical teachings and key aspects of Christian faith. The class is held at New Life Church (Board Room) for three consecutive weeks (February 22, March 1 and March 8). Participants also have to be available on April 12 or 19, for the 10am worship service. This is the Sunday they will make their profession and/or be baptized. Potlucks are happening this weekend and sign ups are now closed! We are very excited to hear the stories that come from these gatherings. 

We continue to seek to be a hospitable community that puts love into action! On Sunday, Feb 22, at 12:30pm we want you to be a HOST or a GUEST at a potluck. The goal is to have 10, 20, or even 30 potlucks happening at the same time all over Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission, etc. Everyone will be responsible to contribute to the meal whether you are the host or guest. We will begin on January 23 by finding as many HOSTS as we can. Once that is settled everyone will be invited to sign up to attend as a GUEST. Sign ups are available below.

Guest Sign Ups: Closed

Guest sign ups will be open from February 6 – 16. Guest sign ups will take place on Sunday mornings with physical paper copies and online. If you choose to sign up online (using the button below), you will be placed at a home, but not have a choice for which home to attend. If you sign up in person on Sunday, February 8 or 15, you will be able to choose which house you’d like to attend.

Two years ago, New Life was in a sermon series called “At The Table”. This series focused on hospitality and being an open community. The New Life congregation participated in this event and it was an astounding success. Many people were encouraged and blessed by the potlucks they attended. We ALWAYS want to be a hospitable and welcoming community and that’s why we are excited to do this again! We hope and pray that you will consider participating in this year’s “Let’s do Lunch Sunday”.
