Worship Pastor

New Life is inviting applications for the full-time position of Worship Pastor.

The Worship Pastor is called and gifted to give vibrant leadership to the worship ministry of New Life Church. While working with the Lead Pastor, this person is responsible to implement the vision and production of worship services as life changing worship encounters with our Lord.

The Worship Pastor will have a profound commitment to Jesus as Saviour and Lord, bear spiritual fruit, have a balanced life, and demonstrate emotional health.

The Worship Pastor will have the wisdom and skill to come alongside the congregation leading them into worship in a manner that is contemporary and current. This person will be able to lead the ministry with quality and consistency and unify all those in this ministry around the vision.

The Worship Pastor will support and take responsibility for the creative arts, audio, video and lighting ministries. There are other ministry areas such as communication and prayer that this person could give leadership to as gifting and experience determine.

The Worship Pastor is a productive leader who has ability to raise up leaders, build ministry teams, and is able to bring creative ideas into reality.  This person will continue New Life’s focus on recruiting, developing and shepherding leaders and teams in all the areas of the worship ministry. The Worship Pastor must have project management abilities in addition to their artistic creative abilities. This person is comfortable with a high level of involvement and a constantly developing environment.

Church Custodian (Casual)

This custodian position is a casual position and the person will be part of our hard working facilities team. From time to time there is need for an additional person to provide custodial services for vacation relief, outside rental group support, weekend ministry support or to open / close for an event.
1. A commitment to membership and the vision and beliefs of New Life Church
2. Is able to do physical labor such as setup and tear down chairs, tables etc.
3. Has a heart for helping and supporting others
4. Is self-motivated, trustworthy and able to work on own with minimal supervision / direction
5. Is able to do evening and weekend work when needed
6. Meets our Safe Church requirements
