Life in the Kingdom

October 11, 2026- November 22, 2026

When Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount, he was doing more than giving rules to follow. He was announcing a new way to be human and opening the door to a kingdom community accessible to all. This fall, we are launching  Life in the Kingdom, a three-part journey through the Sermon on the Mount. We begin in Matthew 5 with the question, Who are you? After Christmas, we will continue with Matthew 6, and later in the spring we will complete the journey with Matthew 7. Before Jesus asks us to do anything, he meets us where we are and tells us who we are. Kingdom life is beautifully upside-down. It belongs to the poor in spirit, the grieving, the merciful, the peacemakers, and all who know their need for grace. In this series, we will experience the love of God not as a prize to earn, but as a gift that reshapes our identity. Jesus calls us salt and light, and he invites us to live with reconciliation, truthfulness, radical grace, and love — even for our enemies. The starting point is this question: “Who am I becoming under the reign of Jesus?”
