GEMS Fundscip Fundraiser
Forms & Payment
On Sunday, Nov 12, 19 and 26 there will be Fundscip paper order forms on the info booth if you’d like to pick one up and fill it out to order gift cards in time for Christmas. Alternatively, you can download the form and print it off yourself. All completed forms can be dropped in the info booth on a Sunday morning or brought to the office during office hours. On these forms there is a variety of available giftcards with a variety of amounts. You can select any that you would like to purchase.
Please include payment with your completed order form. The GEMS will accept cash, cheque or e-transfer. Cash should be placed in a envelope and labelled. Cheques will be made out to “New Life Church” with a memo of “Fundscip Order”. E-transfers should be sent to [email protected] and please include a memo that says “Fundscip order & your name”.

What is GEMS?
GEMS is a New Life program for girls in grades 3-7. The heart of this ministry is to help disciple young girls in their faith and teach them how they can develop an intimate and personal relationship with their Saviour, Jesus Christ, that they will hopefully walk in the rest of their lives. In order to help make this program more affordable for the parents and to help foster some ownership and responsibility from the GEMS, they run a couple fundraisers through the year to support the ministry.
What is Fundscip?
Through the fundscrip program, we will be selling gift cards for everyday purchases from a wide array of retail categories such as groceries, gas, home improvement, department stores, restaurants, coffee shops, clothing stores and many more. With the purchase of every gift card, a percentage of that amount is automatically donated towards the GEMS program.
Christmas Services – Dec 24 & 25
Come one, come all to our Christmas services this year! We are so excited to celebrate Christmas with you. You’re invited to Christmas Eve on Sunday morning at 10AM for a story telling service with New Life Kids. We will explore what it means that the light has come and with that have a candle lighting. There will be no evening service on Dec 24. On Monday morning, Christmas Day, at 10AM, celebrate with us Jesus’ birth. We have a big choir and we’ll spend the morning singing and celebrating together. Both these services are wonderful times to invite a neighbor, a friend, or family. We hope you see there!

At Your Table Potluck – Nov 19
As we seek to be a hospitable community in response to the current sermon series, we are now challenging you to put this into action! On Sunday, Nov 19, at 12:30pm we want you to be a HOST or a GUEST at a potluck. Everyone will be responsible to contribute to the meal whether you are the host or guest. The goal is to have 10, 20, or even 30 potlucks happening at the same time in Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission, etc. If you want to be a HOST or a GUEST, you will have the opportunity to sign up after the service on Sunday Nov 5 and Nov 12. Or you can email the office.
Christmas Craft Fair
New Life Women’s Connections is hosting a Christmas Craft Fair on Nov 3 & 4 to fundraise for their upcoming women’s retreat. They have many different vendors from the New Life congregation coming to sell their own hand made crafts like candles, wood signs, art, pottery etc. It will be hosted at New Life Church from 5pm-9pm on Friday, Nov 3 and 9am-1pm on Saturday, Nov 4. Come out to support our women’s ministry and get some Christmas shopping done.
