LIFE GROUPS is a small groups ministry at New Life that meet during the week to study the Bible together and care for one another through prayer and hospitality. If you’re not already part of a group, we’d love to get you connected! To get connected to a life group, please contact Pastor Shaun.

We are inviting you to serve our community with gifts to our mission partners & missionaries.

Here are seven opportunities for you to give:

1. Hope for Korah They have a gift catalogue available online at hopeforkorah.org. You can give a child breakfast, become a sponsor and lots more.
2. Joshua House There is a large box near the mail boxes where you can deposit items such as shoes (sizes 11, 12), winter coats (sizes L,XL, XXL), socks & underwear for the men overcoming addiction. Joshua also needs monthly financial donors to cover the costs of men in the program with no financial assistance.
3. Brand New Life in Colombia is providing soccer uniforms for children at $30 per uniform. They also need funds for soccer balls, school supplies and a PA system. Donate through New Life and mark it for “Brand New Life”.
4. Esperanza is planning summer camps for children but some children will need financial support. $50 – $100 can be given through New Life marked “Esperanza Kids Camp.”
5. Youth Unlimited is a faith-based organization that meets vulnerable youth in Abbotsford. They need funds to support their ministry to youth. They are hoping to raise $52,000 by December 31. They also would be blessed by baked goods and hot chocolate.
6. Archway Food Bank You can bring food or monetary donations to the church. Food can be placed in the large box near the mailboxes and monetary donations should be made out to New Life Church, but marked as “Archway Food Bank.”
7. Donate to one of our missionaries: Fred in the Middle East, Eve Pohl working in Ethiopia, Fernando Trivino in Colombia or the Barnhoorn family who does translation work for Nigeria.

We know there are many ways to give and many things to which we can give. Let us give with thankful hearts in response to the gift God has given us.

Either donate directly to the cause you choose or through New Life by any of our giving methods, but make sure you clearly indicate in the memo who the gift is for. There are also many giving Catalogues made by other non-profits such as World Renew.

Please give all gifts by December 20.

Our semi-annual congregational meeting is on Wednesday, Dec 6 at 7pm. Packages are available to view below and hard copies are at the info booth in the foyer. In this meeting we will review and approve the financial statements from the past church fiscal year. We are so thankful to God that as congregation we responded to New Life’s financial need and we ended the year with a small surplus. The staff has been busy preparing a video updating the various ministry activities that have been happening this fall. We also will be mixing up the format this year to make the meeting more interactive. We want to have some small table group discussions after the formal financial presentation. A board member will sit at each table and engage with everyone in discussion surrounding our mission and vision. This meeting will be livestreamed, the link is available below.
