The Journey – Sept 29
The next Journey workshop is scheduled for Sunday, September 29 at 6:30pm in room 303. This workshop will be about growing faith at home. The workshop will be led by Liz Tolkamp, Thrive Regional Connector, and former pastor of faith formation ministries at Willoughby Church in Langley. The workshop length is two hours. Refreshments will be available. This is open to anyone, no registration required. The Journey sessions are held once a month to equip participants for the journey of faith. The intent for these discipleship workshops is to help form our faith as we learn to be followers of Jesus.

New Life GEMS, Cadets & Youth Registration
Registration for all the midweek children and youth ministries are officially open! GEMS and Cadets are for kids in grades 3-7. GEMS is for the girls and runs on the first and third Tuesday of every month starting October 15, Cadets is for the boys and runs the second and fourth Tuesday of every month starting October 8. Switchlife is the youth program for grades 8-12 that runs on Thursday evenings. Switchlife’s first regular youth night will be on September 19, however there is a Youth Retreat called Reactivate which is on Sept 6-8. This is a retreat with all the youth of local Christian Reformed Churches hosted in Langley and is a great way to start off the year. Please register for these midweek ministries before September 30, all registration links are below. If you have questions about the GEMS and Cadets program, please contact Sam Postma. Worship & Prayer Night – Aug 28
Get ready for a worship & prayer night on Wednesday, August 28. This will be hosted in the back parking lot of the church from 7pm-8:30pm. We would ask you to bring a lawn chair and to dress for the weather. We are currently in a sermon series on Acts exploring church struggle and one of the ways we, as a church, are called to respond is through prayer and worship. As such, we would like to invite you out to spend time worshipping and praying for the global and local churches as we begin another ministry year. Looking forward to an impactful evening.
NLYA Riverfloat
New Life Young Adults are heading to Vedder River on Saturday, August 17 to float down the river on inflatables. This is for anyone ages 18-25, including those who have recently graduated high school and college students home for the summer. Come hang out and cool off in the river from the summer heat! Bring a friend! Please contact Shaun for exact time and meeting location. Please let him know also if you need a ride.
Celebration of Life for Garry Wolters
Celebration of Life for Garry Wolters will be held here at New Life Church (35270 Delair Rd) at 2:00pm on Friday, July 26, 2024. Garry is a husband to Sonja Wolters, father of Christine (Koenraad) Beugelink and grandfather to Yelissa, Tianna, Kiara, Ezra & Aleena Beugelink. All are welcome to attend the service or watch the livestream which will be available using the button below.
Block Party – Sept 15
Spread the word. We are hitting the street on September 15, 2024 from 12pm-2:30pm for a Delair Road Block Party. Be prepared for tons of free family fun games, activities, lots of food and new this year, a TALENT SHOW. Your hosts, New Life Church, New Life Korean, Cascade Community Church & Zion Church, want to see the community come together for tons of fun. This event is rain or shine, we hope to see you there! Celebration of Life for Nella Venema
Our condolences to the family of Nella Venema, Nella passed away on Monday, July 1. Nella’s Celebration of Life will be at New Life Church on Thursday, July 11, at 1pm, this service will be livestreamed. Use the button below to watch the livestream.
Young Adults Lighthouse Park
YOUNG ADULTS LIGHTHOUSE PARK New Life Young Adults are heading to Lighthouse Park for lunch on July 21. They will be leaving right after the Sunday service. This is for anyone ages 18-25, including those who have recently graduated high school and college students’ home for the summer. Come hang out and explore this beautiful park. Bring a friend! Superhero Park Days
Superhero Park Days is back this summer! Join in the fun at Delair Park from 9am-12pm July 15-18 and then again from August 19-22. Park Days is a free event, open to everyone of all ages. We will provide free face painting, games, bubbles, crafts and so much more. We love the Delair community and we want to be intentional in gathering people together. You can join Park Days one day or every day, we will be set up on the east side of the park by the play ground. We hope to see you there! Who: recent graduates (Gr. 12s) & YA’s home for the summer, everyone ages 18-25
NLYA is having a BBQ as we wrap up for the ministry year and enter into the summer season. Come & hang out over some delicious burgers and snacks. Gr. 12s who have recently graduated from high school and college students home for the summer are all invited and welcome. Feel free to bring a friend!
