Digital Christians
October 18, 2020 – November 22, 2020In a time when we have increased our use of computers and social media because of the Covid-19 pandemic, we do well to examine our lives in a digital age. Computer technology has demonstrated a tremendous power to consume our lives and distort our life and values. In this series we will attempt to approach our use of digital technology with a distinctly Christian vision. Are there Christian values or a Christian vision that we can use to help us engage with technology beyond just consuming it? We’ll use three core values that reflect New Life’s ministry — worship, community, serving – to help us explore this aspect of modern life.
