What Child is This?
December 3, 2017 – December 25, 2017It is Advent season at New Life and this year, we will be asking the Christmas carol question: “What Child is This?” This question is not a matter of fact or curiosity. It is a question of wonder. Over the next few weeks, we are going to look at four names attributed to the coming Christ child in Isaiah 9: “And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Each week we will wonder about one of these names. In Psalm 27, the psalmist said he would seek one thing – to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord. Join us this month as we do just that – gaze at His beauty, because as we see Him, we will discover His wonder and the joy of this amazing season.
