Food Drive – April 13

On Sunday, April 6, New Life Deacons handed out slips of paper with a non-perishable item written on it. The items written on your pieces of paper are items we ask that you bring with you on Sunday, April 13 and place on the steps of the stage. If you didn’t recieve a item to bring, view the list of needed items here.

Easter – April 18 & 20

This Easter the Good Friday service will be on April 18 at 6pm and Easter will be on April 20 at 10am. Good Friday we’ll reflect on the question the disciples asked at the Last Supper; “Is it I, Lord?”. On Easter Sunday we will celebrate together The Greatest Day in song and four powerful enactments of the greatest day in history.

The Journey – April 13

The workshop will be an artwork presentation by Bolivian artist, Daniela Amestegui. Working in digital graphic design, Daniela has created a series of banners depicting the major seasons of the Christian calendar.

At the event we will hear from CPJ policy experts about key issues of interest to Canada’s faith communities: climate change, poverty, and immigrant, refugee, and migrant rights. CPJ will lead in an exploration of prevalent narratives and relevant evidence around key election issues and political engagement in general, considering how people of faith can work together for justice and mutual flourishing.
