Welcome Back
September 10 – September 24, 2017Welcome back from summer! It’s time to engage with our regular routines and schedules once again. However, it’s ever-so-easy to get caught up in an unhealthy, hectic pace as a result. Over the next few weeks, we want to ask three questions that are essential, both personally, as well as for our church community. The first question is, “Where have you been?” Here, we want to reflect on God’s presence in our lives, giving Him praise. Secondly, we ask, “Where are you going?,” a query that urges us to be intentional about making commitments that will set us on solid future paths. Third, we ask, “How will you get there?” In response to this question, we are wise to consider more than just our own plans. We want to exercise faith in God’s plans, leading us places only His grace can take us. This series of messages will be taken from Ephesians 2, 3 , and 4. In these passages, Paul talks about what it is like to be a community of Christ in this world – a message that is critical as we journey together towards the future.
