Strong and Sure
May 3, 2020 – June 7, 2020We’ve always assumed that we were shaping our future, that we knew what was ahead of us, and that our lives and the lives of our children would constantly be improving. The COVID-19 pandemic has changed that, and we are more unsure about the shape of our lives and the direction of our future. It’s the first time in recent history that we have been faced with such a dire prospect. It’s quite remarkable that this situation more closely identifies us with early Christians, whose future was often dark and despairing. In this series we’ll hear from the apostle John on how to hold on to hope, and live our lives in faith, with both strength and certainty.
