Christmas Unpolished

Christmas is often associated with warm sentiments of comfort and joy. There is another side to Christmas that is somewhat scandalous and even uncomfortable. This is “Christmas Unpolished.” Take away the glow and glitter of Christmas and you see the harsh reality into which the Son of God entered in order to save the world. In our current time constrained by a bleak environment we’ll need to see this side of Christmas in order to celebrate with the real hope that Christmas presents.
